There's a $53M market in Australia with a lot of unhappy customers.

….Dating.

12.4% of singles in Australia use dating apps to meet a partner.

And based on the conversations I've had, I'd say about 80% of people dislike them.

Finding a partner is often a top-three goal, yet we blindly place our trust in two companies to make it happen for us (but do they REALLY care?):

> 75% of the market is controlled by Match Group (Yep, that includes Hinge, Tinder, and 43 other dating companies)

> 25% is controlled by Bumble Inc.

No wonder so many singles are unhappy.

I'm sensing a shift from online to IRL.
From endless texting and ghosting to more accountability and empathy.
From algorithms tricking you to spend more, to considered matchmaking.
